The term "members" refers to member residents of The Arbors Improvement Association (AIA).

The term "Association" refers to the Arbors Improvement Association .  Also, Any mention of "HOA" or Home Owners Association on this site shall be considered reference to the Arbors Improvement Association.

Editorial and Content Authority:

The AIA Committee will have editorial and content authority and control over the Arbors web site subject to these guidelines and regulations.

All information to be posted on this Arbors Improvement Association (AIA) web site will be approved in advance by the AIA Committee or its designee. The AIA Committee reserves the right NOT to publish notices or articles that will reflect poorly on our community.

The following are not permitted:

  • Fund raising events not sponsored by the AIA Board and/or Welcome and Social Committee.

  • Real Estate advertisement of any kind, by either individual property owners or agencies.

  • Partisan political notices for any party or candidate.

  • Petition notices (Unless sponsored by the AIA)

  • Objectionable Services / Products (as determined by the Board)

  • Illegal Services / Products

Posted Information:

As a condition to the posting of any information provided by an AIA member (including classified advertisements and services advertisements if such is permitted), the AIA member requesting such posting represents and warrants to the AIA that such member will not post or request the posting of any information that infringes on the trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights of any other person or entity. The member requesting such posting agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the AIA from all costs and expenses (including attorneys' fees) incurred by the AIA related to, or arising from, any breach of this representation and warranty.

Web Site Privacy Policy:

This privacy policy describes how the AIA will treat information posted on the AIA web site. Please remember that no computer system should be considered safe from intrusion. Web site information and/or e-mail may pass through many computer systems, and should not be considered a secure means of communication unless encrypted. Even then, information is only as secure as the encryption method. Therefore, although we take precautions to protect our system and our site, we cannot guarantee the security of any data on any server, including "secure servers."

Links and Cookies:

The AIA may provide links on the AIA web site to other web sites of interest to AIA members, which web sites are owned, operated and/or maintained by third parties. Persons or companies who own/operate such web sites. We do not control the use of cookies by linked web sites. (Cookies are files written to a user's hard disk and read by server programs to inform a web site if the user has previously visited that site.)

Changes to Privacy Policy:

The AIA board may make changes to this policy from time to time.
