Around 2pm on 11/26/07, a
car traveling
north on Hwy 95 made
a left hand turn into the Cedar Hills entrance.
evidently the driver following
that car, unable to stop
safely
or go around on the shoulder
lane, instead left the roadway and hit the Arbors perimeter fence opposite the
Cedar Hills entrance.
the driver
turning into Cedar Hills left the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the fence
was unhurt.
Several Arbors residents who witnessed
this accident and the damage it caused, called members of the
AIA board.
the AIA President
responded immediately and stayed with the driver of the
disabled car until The
Texas DPS arrived.
damage to the car was minimal.
However,
two of the three cross members of the Arbors
fence are cracked/broken and a post was broken
off at ground level.
The AIA has been given the pertinent insurance
information and will be filing a claim in order to fix this
fence asap.
